These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MeasureLab app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. This is also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use MeasureLab on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard EULA, which is incorporated by reference. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the app.

2. Measurement accuracy

MeasureLab uses your device's sensors and provides approximate measurements for everyday and reference use. Sensor accuracy varies by device and conditions. The app is not a certified or professional-grade measuring instrument and must not be relied upon where precision is safety-critical (for example structural, medical, legal, or regulatory purposes). You use measurements at your own risk.

3. Free tools and Premium subscription

Some tools (Screen Ruler, Spirit Level, Compass) are free. The remaining tools and the ArchiGPT assistant require a MeasureLab Premium auto-renewable subscription.

• Plans: Monthly (US$11.99/month) and Yearly (US$114.99/year, ~20% saving vs. monthly).
• Free trial: Eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial that automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Billing & management: Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase in your local currency.

4. ArchiGPT

ArchiGPT is an AI assistant, included with MeasureLab Premium, that answers architecture and construction questions only. Your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate replies. AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete; verify important figures and consult a qualified professional for critical projects.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorized access to it or any connected service.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on measurements produced by the app.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date reflects the current version.
